How I Choose Candle Scents

Step 1: Finding Inspiration
Choosing scents is one of my favorite parts of candle making. I look for inspiration everywhere—nature, seasons, moods, and memories. A walk outside might inspire a fresh, earthy scent, while a cozy evening at home might spark a warm vanilla or sandalwood idea.

Step 2: Testing Different Blends
Next comes experimenting. I mix different fragrance oils to see which combinations create a balanced, unique aroma. Sometimes two scents blend beautifully; other times, I need to try several variations to find the perfect match. I test each scent in small batches so I can smell both the cold throw and hot throw.

Step 3: Final Scent Selection
Once I find blends I love, I test them in actual candles. I observe how the scent performs, burns, and fills a room. Only the scents that stay strong and feel special make it into my collection. Every scent I choose has a story behind it, and I want each candle to create a memory or feeling when someone lights
